This group was created with the purpose of promoting the dialogue and interaction between different areas of knowledge, whose objective is to analyze the relationship between archeology, place namas, folklore, and oral tradition, in an attempt to integrate this material and immaterial heritage in a transdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approach.

 

We believe that a very wide range of symbolic manifestations have been emerging, or being created, over time, by different local communities as a way of interpreting or explaining pre-existing materialities, anthropic or not.

 

Our goal is to share knowledge and to create a dialogue between researchers with different experiences. All contributions are welcome. You can share ideas, articles, communications, projects, suggest bibliography, scientific meetings, debates, among others.

Este grupo foi criado com o intuito de promover o diálogo e a interação entre diferentes áreas do saber, cujo objetivo passa pela análise da relação existente entre a arqueologia, toponímia, folclore e a tradição oral, numa tentativa de integrar este património material e imaterial numa abordagem interdisciplinar ou multidisciplinar.

 

Estamos em crer que um conjunto muito vasto de manifestações simbólicas foram surgindo, ou sendo criadas, ao longo dos tempos, pelas diferentes comunidades locais como forma de interpretação ou explicação de materialidades pré-existentes, de origem antrópica ou não.

 

O nosso objetivo passa pela partilha de conhecimento e pelo diálogo entre investigadores com diferentes formações. Todos os contributos são bem-vindos. Podem partilhar ideias, artigos, comunicações, projetos, sugerir bibliografia, encontros científicos, debates, entre outros.
